A little bit about me

My name is Jacqueline. I grew up in the arts and worked as a television producer and director before starting my MBA at the Schulich School of Business at York University. Since then, I shifted gears from television production towards a career in the ever evolving digital world.

In September 2016 I joined a small group of individuals who launched the Canadian Snapchat office. We worked to educate the marketplace and activate Canada's largest brands on the platform. During this time I led the Creative Strategy team for the Canadian office. Most recently, I relocated to the Snapchat NYC office.

I aim to inspire exploration and enable connection, allowing individuals and businesses to interact with one another in meaningful ways. Finding new opportunities to create experiences for people to enjoy life and explore the world is my greatest passion. 

I am fascinated by how technology and the digital world is changing the way we live and I am thrilled to be a part of this evolution. However, as time goes, my focus and passions have started to shift. This blog started as a place for me to share my tech related stories, and it will still be that! However, I find myself increasingly interested in the convergence of technology, fashion and environmental impact. This blog will reflect these new found areas of focus and I hope you find you find them interesting too.
